How it all began ....

Keith Gorton Services was founded in 1972 as a consequence of the consultancy activities of Keith Gorton, the then Head of Marketing at Humberside College of Higher Education (now known as the University of Lincolnshire). Keith left academia in 1982 to concentrate exclusively on the market research aspects of his clients. Keith Gorton Services was born and has since then been based in the coastal town of Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire.

The company has grown steadily, at first concentrating on business to business research where it quickly established itself as a major provider of marketing research data to the Building Services Industry.

As the company evolved offering a full service provision it developed specialist expertise in consumer markets.

Keith Gorton Services incorporated in 2003 and now trades as KGS Limited.

Today, we still retain our position of excellence in Building Services but the company now offers a full and comprehensive marketing research service, regardless of our client's business.
